This blog is dedicated to my dearest Krishna...mostly poetry, sometimes through the words of a Gopi, and sometimes, just my own musings...

i Miss You

i miss Your eyes like bright suns wide,
i miss how those killer glances draw me inside!
i miss the beauty of that black gem,
Lying in the middle of a white realm!

i miss that cute, manly moustache,
Which by its handsome shape, me into daydreams dispatch!
i miss that never-ending smile, seemingly moustache crowned,
Like the gopuram over the sanctum sanctorum!

i miss Your warm caress,
i miss yearning to see Your curly tresses,
When again lost i will be in Your lovely embrace?
When again will this heart in Your presence find solace?

Mistakes have been mine,
But, apologies, O Achyuta! do not deny:
In Your absence, this heart is a wetland dry,
It will regain life only when You in it recline!

Count not errors far too many,
Measure not my attempts not aplenty,
Take me as Your loving slave!
Forgive me the faults naive.

Your one smile, awaiting,
For Your one word, waiting
For the kiss of love yearning,
In anxiety, my world upside-down turning!
Come now, Parthasarathy!

  2. @KRS: Ya, thanks for the pic, it's everywhere...on my desktop, on this blog :))
btw, on a recent visit to the temple, i got to stand really close, and i stared right into the depths of His eyes; and yet He was not looking at me...that's what started the whole thing off, the eyes were so deep and cold!

when I put the pic for 1st time in the blog, I didnt want to cut the thirumaarbu thaayar from the view; she just cannot stand separation even for a fraction of a second.

thatz why showed her partially and showed the crown of psp partially...so that it fits within the window...

now, sent u an exploded view! enjoy! :)

  7. 'moustache crowned'! that's too sweet!adharam madhuram?..to me it reveals a scene..a swarm of black bees rushing towards his 'adharam'mistaking his lips for lotus for sucking honey[madhuram].of course ,inthe pic moustache isnot black!may be inthe backround of 'ganashyaam'[dense black krishnaa] the blackness of moustache looks faded?..beautiful piece of work!!

My idea was this: i was thinking of the golden gopuram in Tirupati.
The real attraction is Perumal in the temple. But, even His gopuram is so splendid and beaautiful, it becomes an atttraction by itself! :)
Likewise, Parthasarathy Perumal sports a special moustache. While people are usually attracted to His smile (adharam madhuram), His moustache here is very much special, and attracts us in a different way by itself! :)
